Yes I have! It's a delicate flavour, not too rich but light. The most exciting part would be the mild tingle on the lips

Fugu for me is...fine. I usually have it as a sashimi, which I find bland. Fugu karaage however is perfect--fluffy and fresh and pure tasting.

The hirezake thing is just weird. Not at all tasty.

Overall I’m not sure what the nation’s fascination is.

Agree mostly but I liked the sashimi enough. Nowhere near the quality of chutoro
