* Do you know Leon Dame? Why would I see his face while reading your posts 🥺
* Do you have a better translation for something that sounds like “Following the Dao is the way”? 😔
* I sincerely invite you to collaborate on my new publication Wisdom Tooth (if you could find it inspiring and relate it to a topic like “kamisama kiss” 🥳
I was made curious and looked at what's available to be purchased online. These really are mats, right? That is, they are laid on top of a regular floor, not "installed" in some way?
Really interesting. I'm curious why Tatami mats came to be seen as a measure of room or apartment size in Japan?
I also wondered if it was a practice - never heard anyone using blankets or tents to measure:)
I think it was just such a standard size that most people had, so became a popular measurement. Just like feet!
Love the post! I learnt a lot. And so true: "It looks like Japan. It feels like Japan. It even smells like Japan."
That’s amazing! You must read the new publication I’m writing about: it’s like a “feast of the senses” for readers like you 😈
Thanks, Lisa. I'm curious, so just subscribed.
I'm expecting to hear from you 🌾
Leon -:)
