Last week we examined the very traditional icy treat of Japan- Kakigori. As promised, this post is a speed round of every other near identical but distinct cultural ice treat.
With this topic falling outside the strict boundaries of Hidden Japan, and venturing into the wider world, I have kept this as a paid subscriber article. Fear not, there will also be a separate post this week delving back into Japan.
